The inspiration for the collection came from a Russian ballet where I was inspired by strength and poses of the dancers that was translated into the wonderful shapes of the garments.
By tracing the silhouette of dancers from photographs by Alexey Brodovich I was getting new shapes which I used as an inspiration for pattern making.
