The collection was generated during lockdown in Shanghai. I was like all the other citizens in Shanghai, being quarantined for two months from April to June this year. I want to think about the reason, not just for the Covid, but also for why we had to isolate in that way. the old pictures of 90s drove me look back to feel the connection with the 90s in China which was also the age of transformation. Chinese people facing subversive changing. All kinds of new things poured into people’s life.
