The inspiration for Celeni’s S/S 2016 collection is the playful and romantic style of Hungarian Gypsy culture, with its lively style of dressing. The designer has taken a slightly different approach to this idea, by not directly imitating the most commonly-used themes of Roma heritage, which tend to exaggerate the familiar flower motifs and colors. Rather, the free spirit of Gypsy culture becomes apparent through the mixing of fabrics that others have not often attempted to use so far.
