Thin sublime

Thin sublime

Edmund Burke once understood the sublime as an immediate exhilaration which does not translate into intellectual response. This describes the thin sublime. The overwhelming sublime experience which however does not result in personal action.
“Thin Sublime” is an extension of the previous collection Sublime Devastation, inspired by the concept of Edmund Burke.
The pieces are hand MODELLED in wax by me in my studio in Berlin, casted in Sterling Silver or Aluminum through a company in southern Germany and finished back in my studio.
