This collection is called “Simula” which in Filipino means the beginning. This collection is a reflection of my state of mind during the entire lockdown period and how I wanted to restart after this Covid -19 pandemic. Having the time to appreciate the simplicity of life; reflecting on the undesirable headlines on the news and realizing that we are living in the world with broken system, this collection revolves around the idea of starting all over again while fixing the remnants of the past and is inspired by how peace and chaos co-exist in my brain.
