“Light Touch, Clean Taste”, explores the transformation and rebirth of raw materials into edible and wearable objects. A composition is built with each cut and gather, and parallels are found between the sourcing and production of clothing and food. Creating recipes and sketches, steaming and folding to create structure, cutting on the bias to reveal shape- each piece carries its own origin story. Minimal, uncluttered organic cotton core styles contrast against more sensual pieces, styled to be hyper feminine with a twist.
