The BOITA name comes from our founder’s family in the province of Biella in the Piemonte region, Italy. In the local dialect of Biellese, the ‘BOITA’ refers to the ‘backpack’ that people tending the vineyards would wear as a backpack. It’s this utilitarian, functional design that inspires our first collection today.
