during my stay in shanghai, quite a few provinces showcased many dragons sculptures. i was inspired by the details of the dragon figures 2d as well as 3d. paintings of the dragons body are often illustrated in a swirl like shape. therefore, i aimed to create a playful interpretation of a chinese dragon using the chinese colours.
