colour me lurid is a collection of six outfits. its not particularly inspired by one thing. the foundation to the collection was inspired by an indian contemporary artist; seema kholi. all pieces are hand knitted. I wanted to create things that brought comfort to me but i was not sure what comfort really meant but i knew colours would play a huge part in this project. I know a lot of people who see the world in a very bland palate, not that its wrong, it’s just, the world is so big and wide, with different colours and i wanted to knit that part of my interpretation in this project.
