Bloom not bleed encapsulates the sacred relationship between a daughter and her ailing mother. The daughter uses her art journal to document the hardships her mother goes through and to ultimately convey strength and hope to her.
'bloom, not bleed' is thus, essentially a memorandum of hope.
Taking the idea of hope forward, the collection utilizes crafts like kaala cotton and leather embroidery, hence prolonging the life of crafts which otherwise are at the brink of extinction.
