Biziraun originates from an in-depth exploration of heritage and familial roots, shaping the essence of human existence. Conceived through the transformation of vintage garments and assorted artefacts gathered from my personal life, the collection attempts to both decode and redefine the symbolic significance carried by traditional patriarchal attire. In particular, the focus lies on unravelling the essence of the “suit”. By thoroughly deconstructing its conventional connotations and roles therein, the collection intends to embark on a journey of physical reconstruction.
