The starting point for my graduate
collection was to examine the role of
women in the workplace through the
lens of stereotypes and fantasies in
a classic office environment. I have
used the theme as a creative starting
point for my design process, which is
by its nature idea- and association driven.
My intention as a designer is to
humanize the working woman and give
her agency, to dress an individual who,
with self-distance and a certain amount
of irony, consciously navigates a mined
territory.
