Après-midi d'un faune

Après-midi d'un faune

Throughout compositions of materials and artistic references, this collection questions the links uniting art and fashion. The inspiration finds its essence in the Russian avant-garde movement and the Art nouveau from the beginning of the 20th century. The hats are directly inspired by some paintings of Gustave Klimt, which are translated through a patchwork material game. The collection named ''Après-midi d'un Faune'' pays homage to the Russian ballet of the same name realized by the choreograph and dancer Vaslav Nijinski.
