Ever interested in deconstructing pop and celebrity culture, Ali translates his signature psychelic prints through shibori dying and Swarovski heat transfers. Collaborating with the London based brand Maromas, the duo have re-interpreted existing patterns and combined a vision of a queer-romantic community under a nostalgic Western theme.

Working with the Soho-based embroidery specialists Hand and Lock, beaded patches of celebrity-like figures were created and applied through-out the collection and Swarovski pieces were heat-transfered on chap-like trousers.
