The base of this mini-collection is the fusion of the african man’s identity with the occidental haute couture tradition. Its purpose is to make people living far from Africa think about this totally different culture. I was mainly inspired by the appearance, behaviour and thinking of the „black man”, but also relied on the African flora and the handcraft technics. The body decoration, the gold rings, the skin chapped by the natural dyes are imitated by the richness of elaboration, which is the main viewpoint in the haute couture, too.
