To promote, the people in the fashion industry a technique which claims that patterns are not necessary to give shape to a garment. It can be done through fabric surfacing (texturing) without cutting and adding fabric to it.
The fabric surfacing technique has evolved from being a decorative element to a textured functional element in the garment that moulds out and take shape of various part of the garment without adding extra fabric to it hence minimising the scope of wastage and allows the rest part of the fabric to form good new silhouettes.
