Emily Clarkson is a fashion designer, based in England with a Masters Degree in Fashion Design, from Kingston University, London.

With family roots imbedded in farming in Northern England, Emily has been raised to connect with the full cycle of a supply chain. Within her collections she aims to address the disconnect in today’s society between an individual and the impact of their decisions on social, political and environmental issues.

To connect people with the clothes the emphasis is on the craft of the garment.
Drawing inspiration from social and political events, colours are muted and the label of a season eradicated for the focus to be directed upon the techniques within the garments. This includes the craftmanship of the tailoring, the balance of fabric composition and the selection of textiles applications thus, allowing the consumer to focus on the garments production and connect with the clothing before them.

Throughout her collections, Emily has been committed to designing and producing high quality womenswear. The journey started with the first collection, choosing to ethically source fabrics and implement sustainable textile techniques, which developed into winning awards and continued into the brands second collection, attracting sponsorships from prestigious UK fabric suppliers.

The EMILY CLARKSON brand now continues to develop in London, working on a made - to- order basis with a continued emphasis on connection.
