Clare Payne

Clare was born in Cambridge in 1989. In 2012, she graduated from Kingston University London with a first class degree BA (Hons) in Fashion. During her time there, Clare developed a strong, conceptual approach to design, allowing a narrative to take form and guide the creative process resulting in focused and innovative pieces. Alongside her studies, Clare has gone on to complete intern placements at Erika Trotzig, Simone Rocha and more recently J.W. Anderson and Ava Catherside. Since showing at Graduate Fashion Week, Clare's collection has gained the interest of numerous stylists and resulted in garments touring with Lady Gaga as well as being selected for promotional shows for Azealia Banks and music videos including Ed Sheeran and Eddi Front. Her work has also been featured on volt cafe as well as receiving several reviews online since.
