Born to a chinese mother and swiss father i grew up in zurich, switzerland.
before venturing into design, fashion and beyond i did an apprenticeship as an it system engineer and worked as such for 5 years prior to my ba degree in fashion which i graduated from in february 2023.

through my upbringing and continued influence of my mixed heritage i felt the need early on to find a space in between. a third space where the status quo does not have to do justice to either of those cultures, traditions and values. where i can be myself and express myself fully in my purest form.

For many years I felt the unstoppable urge to search for my own hybrid third space, a vacuum created by myself. A space in which the new status quo does not do justice to the opposites, no, but imitates them and presents them in its own form, function, and way of being. Deceiving and simultaneously disappointing the critically observing eyes which gaze from a far. To re-imitate imitations in my own way and to present the act of imitation itself as a representation.

We all hide. We all unveil. We all create.
Create your own reality. Create your own space. Create your own canvas.

merge the connection between illusion and disillusion.

Painting my own canvas which has already been painted, sprayed, or damaged dozens of times by others and their connotations.
A canvas which I paint myself and from now on, shape it myself or paint over it myself.
