Chloë Fournier is a fashion designer graduated from Head in geneva. Throught her practice she focuses on fashion sustainability issues with main topics such as our relationship to objects, collecting and consumption.

She explores her habits of accumulating in favor of innovative shapes and materials.
Indeed, by creating new fabric from scraps, and playing with optical illusions, she recreates unit and harmony with waste.
Thereby she makes fashion pieces that translate her own langage between fashion design and art.

In her posture value what we ne longer want leads to innovative designs.

Dollection

Everything starts from a question about my relation to the object. Indeed I’ve noticed two things about it : an obsession of collecting things, and a habit of never throwing things away. Which led me to realize a collection about collection.

Here the idea was not simply to talk about accumulation but to explore all the possibilities that this subject opens where creation is an excuse to question our relation toward objects (and vice versa).

Dollection approaches the act of collecting to question our habits of overconsumption by opening a discussion on our relationship to the object. Collecting presents itself here as an opportunity to keep an archive of a disappearing world in order to bequeath a testimony of it as it will no longer be to future generations.
