Jenny Trúc Uyên Chung is a Vietnamese-Canadian fashion designer and fibre artist living in her home city of Toronto, Ontario. She specializes in high-end womenswear and luxury knitwear, focusing on sustainable design. From an early age, Jenny was fascinated with the construction of garments and grew up recreating accessories, clothing and knitting for her friends. These childhood interests led her to pursue Fashion Design for her post-secondary education. During her time at
university, she learned more about the fashion industry and its environmental impacts, which led to her narrowing her focus on sustainability in her work. Jenny discovered fibre art and began exploring sustainable design through knitting and natural dyeing with an interest in weaving, yarn spinning, felting and various dyeing methods. She is passionate about developing her skills with other creatives who share her values.
