CHERRY DEAR is contemporary handmade jewellery. I primarily use silver with precious, semiprecious stones and other materials. As it is handmade jewellery, I pay equal attention and time to each piece.

In 2017, I started researching JEWELLERY making from sources available at the time and preparing to attend the Training Program for Contemporary JEWELLERY Design at the Public Open University in Zagreb.

TROUGH MY TRAINING I WAS intrigued by the possibility of obtaining irregular, organic shapes and forms. I continued this research in independent collections as well. From collection to collection and through each piece I try to learn something new and progress with every step because the possibilities are endless.

The jewellery I make can be worn every day. It is light AND ergonomic. IT DOES NOT DISTRACT BUT STILL YOU CAN FIND STATEMENT PIECES. I LIKE TO THINK OF THEM AS LITTLE SCULPTURES.

There is a story behind each collection. I find inspiration in everyday situations and experiences that connect us. JEWELLERY is not just an ornament. It is often a reminder of someone or something. It carries its own story and is passed down from generation to generation.

I give each piece a chance to find it's own way and function. Someone might really find meaning in it, and someone will just find it beautiful.
