I have served in the military for two years in South Korea. While I was in the military, I got to idea a lot after having various experiences, and I naturally started to have an interest in fashion because I had a desire to express my personality through fashion by combining these thoughts and my personality. After I finished my military service, I researched about fashion studies and got to know Central Saint Martins in London. After preparing for the portfolio, I applied for and entered the Central Saint Martins Foundation course. After finishing the foundation course, I received an offer from the Ba Fashion Print degree, and I am currently learning various skills and studying design.

Traces of dust : chimney sweeper

In the past, chimney sweeps went directly into chimneys to clean them. After they finished cleaning, traces of dust remained on their face and body. The appearance of dust clinging to each person was different depending on the curves of the face, body movements, and the shape of the clothes. I was intrigued by this look and wanted to express it through print, embroidery and dyeing fabric etc. I also developed the characteristics of chimney sweeper and expressed them through fashion in my own way. In this collection, I focused on recycling and zero budget with the environment in mind. I used donated fabrics and scrap fabrics, and natural dyeing ingredients that can be obtained from nature were used as fabric dyeing ingredients. In addition, snap fasteners and rubber bands were used to make it easy to put on and take off for people with disabilities.
