CHAI LONDON is a luxury designer men's clothing brand.

Creative director, Chai-Lee was born and raised in the UK, where she pursued the fashion industry and graduated with Honors from a fashion design course. She commenced her first internship with an Italian designer in Central London. As an intern as part of a small company she had to have a versatile approach to the daily task. These varied from pattern making, fabric sourcing and overseeing manufacturing; which gave her a well-rounded understanding. This prompted her first womenswear collection in 2011 - Chai-Lee Shrayn.
In Summer 2013 Chai-Lee moved to New York City to pursue a job opportunity with Ralph Lauren. After being on the design team for two years she began to feel restricted and missed the excitement of seeing her own designs come to life. Chai-Lee then moved forwards to revive her womenswear line and introduce it to the American market. Living in a foreign country presented numerous challenges which led her to step outside of her comfort zone and design her menswear collection.
As the creative director, Chai-Lee takes pride in handpicking fine quality fabrics and trimmings from the heart of the garment district in New York City. With a commitment to creating timeless yet innovative pieces, suitable for fashion forward men who have a contemporary wardrobe and modern lifestyle. The designer takes conventional wardrobe staples and presents a combination of raglan cuts mixed with sporty urban conceptual aesthetic. The collection represents the designers upbringing and experiences, aiming to unite traditional British tailoring and influences from urban American culture - bridging the gap between the distinction of formal and casual wear.
