Born and raised in croydon, Kelly's family are from mauritius have a creative background as some of her family members are artists, patter cutters, musicians, dancers and many more.

Growing up, Kelly looked up to her uncle who works in the fashion industry, as a pattern cutter/designer at alexander mcqueen. since THEN, her passion for fashion started to emerge. from gcse art and textiles to college fashion clothing and garment construction to university as a fashion designer. it has been hard going down this road as she thought about not studying at all for fashion, took her inspiration to be like mcqueen not having to take a degree because of financial situations but instead kelly carried on to emerge as a creative and work alongside so many other creative people.
