Upon graduation she received a National Windgate Fellowship award from the Center for Craft, Creativity, and Design, honoring her innovation in fiber and textile arts. The grant is being used to fund future collections and a studio practice in Brooklyn New York.
An integral part of Caroline Kaufman’s practice focuses on innovative, hand crafted pieces and honoring maker’s hands. As a textile-based fashion brand, all work maintains a special attention to detail and is produced in USA. The emerging brand is known for it’s experimental textiles, hand painted prints, use of color, and whimsical point of view.
