Calvin Blackburn is a Scottish designer who founded his eponymous, unisex label in 2021. Purposefully taking a slow, meditative approach to design; Calvin works outside of the fashion calendar to create exclusive limited-run collections that offer carefully sourced fabrics and refined detailing. Rich in influences, his work is both sophisticated and spiritual. Drawing upon a myriad of inspirations which span the worlds of art, philosophy and storytelling.

Seeking to embody the values of artisan craftsmanship; his thoughtfully layered garments feature deeply considered construction methods, soft silhouettes and folkloric colourways to conjure a poetic vision of understated elegance. Calvin began his practice at the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art, where his signature design ethos has led to various high-profile collaborations alongside luxury heritage brands, such as Harris Tweed and Johnston's of Elgin.
