Callina

Callina is a culmination of designer Michelle's passions - social initiatives, sustainable growth opportunities, and design. The Callina collection is classic with clean contemporary lines, and masterfully blends the skills of artisans with great design.

After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, Michelle took her expertise to Design Within Reach (DWR) and her own luxury bedding company, Sefte, where Michelle collaborated with textile mills to create custom fabrics. With her design sensibility and creative approach, she designed seasonal bedding collections with textiles from around the world. She became the ambassador to the textile mills and regional artisans, handling everything from the initial designs, working with the artisans, to the ultimate launch of the companys’ products.

With Callina, Michelle recognizes the importance of sustainable fashion- honoring fair trade principles as well as using the highest quality environmentally sustainable luxury yarns, materials, and processes.

Callina starts with a simple idea: create timeless knitwear for women who seek quality, strive for perfection and never settle.
