Brynja Swimwear is a new collection designed with Scandinavian style and charm. Marked by assorted use of colour and thorough attention to detail each design is pure and exclusive. Brynja, meaning armour and protection in the Old Norse language, is a brand designed for walks of all kinds – from beach lovers, wanderers and daydreamers.

The designer’s international travels and devotion for fashion inspired her to create a brand representing the feminine woman with a free spirit lifestyle and attitude. Each product is made with exquisite posh fabrics, combined with delicate patterns and handmade Nordic-inspired detailing. By incorporating a cultural influence not commonly explored, Brynja’s mission is to build a recognizable brand with the same passion and imagination as its followers.

With Scandinavian heritage, designer Brandi Thostenson adds a unique spin and vision to Brynja. Brandi derives her vibrant themes and distinctive new patterns from Scandinavian folklore and mythology. She is particularly inspired by costume designs worn at native Midsummer festivals, which incorporate crowns of wild springs and wildflowers.

Brynja unites concepts and influences from the Nordic Countries. The end result is a swimwear line that captures natural, effortless and ethereal beauty.
