Andrea Bores is a Mexican based designer. She has previous studies in Mechanical Engineering and in 2015 she graduated from Textile and Fashion Design BA at Centro de Diseño Cine y Televisión University, in Mexico City.
Her process is constantly nurtured by the long tradition of Mexican artisanal textiles, nature, geometry, and finding creative solutions to fill the gaps that the textile and fashion industry currently has in México.
As many emerging designers, she is concerned about the way fast fashion is hurting the industry and she intends to contribute to heal it by slowing it down with artisanal processes that add meaning to the garments.
