BLUE WISH

During collage my inspiration came from the aesthetics of the girlish privet world and dreams using icons from feminine memory manifested by soft and bright colors. I created a series of artworks about the tension and the unknown future of weddings, and the moments of preparations and anticipation expressed by the stark of light and the absence of humans.
After graduation I was taken by the huge media transformation and the tension coming from the abundance of the privet, closed world to a new fast changing and mind blowing world of the new media, I expressed it by three artworks focusing on the screen as a main icon.
Lately in 2013 I tend to get my inspiration from the nature and the feeling of freedom and independence overcoming cultural repression by the beauty of creation in nature, using free, fragile and independent icons such as flowers, butterflies and birds that manifest the feeling and tension of insecure lovely freedom, wishing in the future I shall be engaged more with the strength and deepness found in nature.
