The brand

Bleach Project created in the mid of 2013 as an idea to provide a comfortable men’s wear with a certain edge, fun, and sporty but also at affordable price point. Bleach project is based on the heart of Indonesia, the island of God, Bali. Given it has its charm as the paradise for touristic getaway; it has been the best-kept secret of international fashion industry for many years. It provides the resources for garment manufacturing of high quality at low prices.

Bleach project started as a small t-shirt brand with few designs that provides for the local market, now we have developed into a full collection of 26 looks for this season of spring/summer 2014. Not to mention, we have our own production facility and we watch closely the quality control throughout the production process.
The designer

The creative director of Bleach Project designs the collection and works meticulously with his team in designing the print, chooses the fabric, developing details and also closely with sample makers on the cut of each garment by trying to create something new from the existing classic men’s wear pieces.

Yasir Bawazier has spent 10 years working as a fashion designer for various international labels that focus mainly on women’s ready to wear. That’s why he has the need to bring to life his true passion in fashion, which is to create a fashionable but yet wearable men’s wear label.

He is born and raised in Indonesia and has been educated in Amsterdam, India, and Mexico. He earned his master degree in Paris last year for fashion design and management that gave him accesses of a few internship stints in Paris fashion houses. With these set of skills and experiences as his background, he tried to combine the best of both worlds, west and east, the western savvy of fashion trends and tailoring with the craftsmanship of affordable garment manufacturing of his home country.
