Zayoung Kwon launched her collection in 2014, with a focus on comfortable fit, simple silhouette with uncontrived proportion, subtle textile and contrasting texture match in soft color.
For Women who are in middle age like her, for their needs about modest wear with delicate detail-partly unique and slightly edgy-, Zayoung explores the balance of experimental design and textile, unexpected fabrics and construction and simplicity.

Zayoung Kwon was born and raised in Korea, earned B.F.A, M.F.A, Ph.D. degrees at Hong Ik University in Seoul but she was naturally international traveler.
From 20years old, She traveled a lot of countries and stayed in several cities, during the travel she had embraced various cultures, developed her identity.
She began her career as a designer for women's wear at company and worked as a stylist, costume designer and teacher before launching her label BLACKSHEEP which followed the name of her own studio previously.
Zayoung is a independent designer who is able to do all process of production by herself, for that reason, She had got rushed private orders and it became a turning point to build her own brand to produce more goods.
