Becky Rose Burton is a graduate of De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design.
Becky is a 21-year-old luxury womenswear designer currently based in West Yorkshire. Her final collection ‘Persistence of Vision’ was showcased at the prestigious Graduate Fashion Week event in Earl’s Court in June, 2011 after being chosen by a selection panel. Inspired by light trails created when using long-exposure photography, the collection is based on a colour palette of fiery oranges, pastel prints, vibrant reds and dazzling gold sequins. ‘Persistence of Vision’ also features contrasting luxury fabrics such as silk chiffons and soft leathers, as well as print designs inspired by the designer’s own photography.
A selection of Becky’s designs are currently available in Carnaby Street, London, and she has previously enjoyed some success selling designs in a local boutique.
