AWKWARD

AWKWARD is typical with the pop approach to fashion. It’s playful with the touch of underground. The brand is created by Lucie Jelínková and Monika Nováková, who met on The Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. They are focused on fashion, jewellery, shoe and graphic design. Already exhibited on Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend Prague, Dreft Fashion Week and VOYAGE THROUGH CENTRAL EUROPE AT THE INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOWCASE 2014, London. Their work appeared in magazines like Elle, Harper’s Baazar, Dolce Vita, ISSUU, Cosmopolitan etc. They won first prize in the category - FASHION ACCESSORY, competition START UP/
PRAGUE FASHION WEEKEND 2012. This year they changed approach to their fashion. From artistic pieces they evolved to the ready-to-wear fashion. They focused on the eclectic graphic design and created completed collection of basic pieces based on allover prints.
