Inspired by the seasonal transition into the autumn, 'Anglia Terra’ AW18 calls upon the ancient term for the English terrain; reminding us of our rural heritage as it falls bountiful with fruits, flowers and foliage during the colder months. Cast into sweeping vistas of wooded hills, pastures and fields bound by country lanes and hedgerows, we explore the working routines of the generations of men who have worked the land. Ploughing and nurturing as the leaves herald the time of harvest, the collection looks to the countryman who is presented through six seasonal hues: red, yellow, orange, pink, green and purple, in minimalistic knits, dip dye shirtings and block colour suiting that pair felt fedora hats and scarves to perfectly blend with nature’s hues and complement the surroundings.
