ATELIER FRECKLES

Hello, I am Flora. I am half French, half Venezuelian and passionate about travelling, exploring new places and making cultural discovers. I grew up in Paris, in the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods of the city and I’ve always dreamt of creating a streetwear fashion brand. My goal is to creat practical and aestetical clothing. What I want is to develop an urban style with thought shapes and fabrics choosen to ease daily life of the woman who will wear my clothes.

I have met Maud at fashion designer school. She has already lived several lives between her first job as midwife and her second in couture. But when I talked with her about my project, she didn’t hesitate a second and joined the adventure. Now we create together, Maud the accessories and me the clothes. We complete each other well !

To imagine, draw and create our clothes we take inspiration from everywhere. I am passionate about art history and I love hearing people tales whatever the shape they use for it : pictural art, movies, photography, dance… I love when people succeed to take me in their own world. Titouan Lamazou, JR, Blanca Li, Seth, Céline Hue, Carine Brancowitz, Jacques Demi, Izzy Bizu, Hera, Jonas Bendiksen… are people that inspire me.

At Atelier Freckles we would like to reset clothing purchase. To stop compiling short life pieces again and again, but instead create innovative pieces thought to live long.
Each cloth is made with great care, handcrafted and in limited series in Ile-de-France (Paris’ region). We shorten kilometers to be the closest to our production, to be able to control it and so provide you a quality work.

We want to create one collection by season in limited edition. We would like to present these collections during a day, a weekend or a week in a special place in Paris, each time different. This moment will allow our clients to see, try and buy our clothes. This meeting is very important for us because it will permit us to share with our clients and thanks to that we will be closer to their needs and expectations each season.
