Passionate towards the word Androgy, Ashwaqul creates pieces which entail the blurred line of gender; his approach allows him to explore illict aspects of flamboyant colour, embellishment and drape infused with structural tailoring to Menswear Design, visioning a new contemporary gender.
Cultivating by transgressing lines, Ashwaqul like to juxtapose the balance lines of both characteristics through curved and formatted shapes and offsetting them with textural adornments. With each piece he brings alive a power and exposes the inner self of an individual.

Investigating the true meaning of the Eunuch cult from India; looking at elements of escapism, identity and the cultural values towards a Hijra, and cross referencing their persona within society.
Embraces the concept of coverage and disguise in migratition to a westen world of a ‘new’ gender, capturing a character that appears cultivated to be individual who standout in a crowd. The contrast of feminine fluidity in the clothes against the rigid frames, toying with feminine characteristics and its physical appearance.
The collection forms a mixture of sophisticated pieces, cascaded with jewelled sequins and numerous layers.
