Words of the designer : "It was a question of drawing up a vocabulary of gestures and techniques comparable to a collection repertory generating in their combination a singular aesthetic.Through these experiments, meeting points were identified to determine how industrial methods can be brought back. textile handicraft by ancestral methods of clothing creation (screen printing, dyeing, embroidery, silk, leather, weaving etc.) or by its tools (trowel, brush, etc.) It was important to reintroduce the hand of the craftsman in processes initially intended for mass production of the industry. "

STATEMENT N°/ - MADE VISIBLE

« Visual Society, have been mandated by Made Visible to devellop a twelve female & male oufits collection. As one of the most influent swiss label on road safety actions, Made Visible wanted to show the possiblity to integrate high visility technology inside a fashion collection.
The process start from the most litteral aspect as pieces from industrial & workwear wardrobe and see how they can used and flip in order to show pieces integrating functionality, volumes, aesthetic and design expectations of today.
This collaboration allowed to dicover new technologies, details, fabrics, coatings, suplliers... as this almost iconic reflective knit pull over develloped in a small atelier in Switzerland.
The collection has been presented twice in Mode Suisse Zurich & as a guest at HEAD Geneva runway.»
