ANYNOME

Anynome is a clothing brand that strives to emphasize its appreciation towards Indonesian Tenun and Batik heritage. Utilizing them in a contemporary fashion manner, in an attempt to obtain a more universal dialogue within a diverse fashion market. Exploration starts by liaising with Indonesian Batik and Tenun craftsmen from regions of Indonesia to develop fabrics that are suited to our aesthetic values. Turning each and one of them into ready-to-wear ranges that consist of highly wearable, valuable garments.

Anynome is a brainchild of Myrna Christina, who had the brand reinvented in late 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion) with Honours from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She has worked full-time as a Casualwear and Accessories Head Buyer in one of Australia’s largest Menswear retailers before making a move back to Indonesia. Her past work experiences and on-going mentoring have allowed her to gain insights in fashion industry in which she plans to utilize on her future pursuits.
