Over the years, design and art have been very important to me, and have proven to be of great added value to it.
Today, as in the past, I possess great desire and enthusiasm to enter the world of design and art, and strive to use all the knowledge and tools from my previous studies as a textile and footwear designer, to do so with a feeling of satisfaction, curiosity and ambition.
My designs and creations are mainly inspired from handmade processes; the feeling of a handcrafted piece is very significant to me. I am interested in almost every traditional handcraft method and experiment with different materials and techniques, and also incorporate various innovative technologies in many of my works. After many years of developing a personal design language, I am now able to characterize mine as mathematical, geometric, modular and cyclic.
In the future, I aim to accumulate enough knowledge in my area of study to successfully incorporate my influences and perspective into my designs and work.
I believe that there are no limits when one has a strong sense of commitment and vast professional knowledge and creativity.
