The label creates directional leather pieces and artefacts. To Enhance and Evoke.
Hand and laser cut thick leather is combined with antique and vintage silver.
The organic with the lifeless.
The flexible with the formed.
The contemporary with the story.

"My work focuses on creating aesthetically bold and interesting pieces that are an empowering adornment to the wearer.
Although my pieces are visually contemporary there is a sense of antiquity to them. This balance between a modern aesthetic and a more timeless quality is important to me, my intent is to create future classics that are as pleasing to the beholder today as they will be in years to come.
I'm a strong believer in the 'slow fashion movement', both in terms of fashions environmental impact but also in regards to encouraging the longevity of strong design and craftsmanship over passing trends. To this end I use traditional leatherworking techniques along side modern laser cutting and only high quality materials that wear and age beautifully."

Anuk originally trained in knitwear design at the University of Brighton, and started her knitwear label in 2003. Over time she added leather pieces to the collection, these subsequently became the dominant force and so the Anuk Harvey Leather Accessories label was forming in 2013.

Anuk is English and has lived and worked in London and the UK until mid 2010 when she and the label moved to Vancouver Canada.
