The theme of the collection is the mimicry of Jesus’ life, that is, an attempt for the Christians
to adjust their life in the way that they look to the life of Jesus, to be more like Him. God
created mankind to His own image and thus a man wants to honour the love to God and
make himself suitable to Him to be God’s living image. However, the sin prevents him from
doing so. The sin separates a man from God.
Clothing pieces in this collection have been inspired by priest vestment because priests are
God’s representatives. Laser cutting was used to get patterns resembling lace, which can
often be found on priest vestment.
The patterns were created by mutual word overlapping. Every pattern was made from the
words of sin. “Lace” patterns showcase Christian symbols such as a fish and a cross, resulting
from different rotation and placement of the words of sin.
