From an outlet for escape and experience, a source of comfort and way to process grief, and to a space where any world that can be envisioned can be created right in front of you—video games have always held a deep emotional significance for me.

Something particularly special I find about video games is the powerful sense of agency we are overtaken with when we assume the role of the game’s protagonist, becoming that hero.

When I look at what’s happening around us—environmental degradation, social injustice, political abuse and instability—I hope for the better world I wish existed and the people we need to lead us into that world, and I think there is no better time to instill the spirit of the heroine in the everyday person than there is now.

ANTIDOTE, is streetwear/activewear with a video game -inspired sensibility, that empowers you to go out in the world and achieve a greater objective. Each outfit exists within and pulls details from a different "level" of the ANTIDOTE world. Along with clothing, I explored wearable tech from the approach of conductive fabric paired with interactive objects, and worked with a game designer to 3D model one of the ANTIDOTE levels for 360 experience through virtual reality.

Whether it's through fashion, objects, or VR, I am driven by the pursuit of bringing the hero out within each and every one of us. We may not be able to eliminate all poison from the world, but we will always have the choice to be the antidote the world needs.
