Annie Le‘s love for fashion developed at a young age, when she learned to sew by her mother's side. Although fashion was always a major force in Annie's life, she pursued a career in advertising upon graduating with a B.A. in Political Science and an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications. In 2007, Annie opened a small t-shirt company.

This venture made Annie realize she could not bear the thought of going through life always wondering if she could have been a successful fashion designer. Annie made a drastic change, leaving her career in advertising and pursuing her passion for fashion as a design student at FIDM. Annie believes that simplicity can inherently cause more complexity because there is no facade to hide behind. With this philosophy, Annie relies on clean designs with easy silhouettes and refined construction, creating clothes that embrace the classic contemporary styling.
