The collection mirrors an abandoned house, its decay and the mysterious mood which very often surrounds it . By the absence of residents, an abandoned house is left to decay and disrepair. All the objects of the house formerly controlled and tamed by the human hand have now got their own lives. Plants, mold and moths have worn down, eaten and overtaken everything as they create uncontrolled motifs which blur and obstruct the former functions of the interior. Shining surfaces, clean lines and strong colors are now bleached by the sun, stained by the water and dusted by the wind. This new, uncontrolled life is mysterious and gives vent to the imagination. I have applied the interplay between fantasy and reality to my collection for women. In order to achieve this I have used well known materials in new constellations, given decorations their own lives and created contrasts in forms and shapes. I have worked towards an objective registration of the decay of abandoned houses in the expression, mood, shapes and composition of my collection.
