Adorned in Dreams
The collection is a nostalgic and intimate journey to the world of reminiscence and an attempt to capture and
recreate the fragility and the fugitive nature of bygone childhood times. Specifically it refers to the memories
about the time, spent in the countryside in a small country house. Passed through the ‘rose-tinted lens’, those
memories are refined with replicated and enhanced versions.
Similarly to a "Narnia wardrobe", collection illustrates the transaction from a material world of clothes to an
enchanted world of memories and fantasies. As if being taken from a grandparents wardrobe and recreated
by a little dreamer girl, pieces balance between masculinity and femininity, stiffness of a grandfather's
outdoors coat adjoins the tenderness of a decorated dress. Fabrics overlaying and seams construction reflect
the way memories are blurred, thus only some parts of them are crisp and clear, while the rest of them are
ephemeral and transformed.
The collection is an essence of various components of reality and fantasy, based on the real expirience of the
designer.
