Anja Schwerbrock is a german designer, based in Antwerp. She studied fashion design at the Hamburg University of Applied Science in Germany, with Prof. DR. G from Comme des Garçons as a mentor. After her education she worked during one year in Tokyo. Since 2006 she has had her own store and showroom in the antique area at Kloosterstraat 175 in Antwerp, where she sews and sells her own garments under the label "Anja Schwerbrock". Begin 2012 the baby collection "Tree House" will be introduced.
Anja Schwerbrock's design searches for a wearable expression of freedom and individuality.When creating collections for every season she usually works after at theme and is always inspired by the theatre and ballet worlds. The colours of the pieces and accessories are often black, white or in different shades of pink, beige and grey.
