My name is Anita Nicaso, I was born and raised in the province of Ragusa, in Comiso, where I attended the S.Fiume State Institute of Art, graduating as a Master of Applied Art. My studies have focused on the drawing "of the true", passing from painting to chiaroscuro, up to watercolor. I also learned the techniques of embroidery, weaving and coloring of the fabric.
Immediately after graduation, I was selected to participate in a one-month training internship at the OMMYsrl knitwear company in Pesaro, becoming familiar with the machines and the working times. I continued to study at the Euromediterranean Academy of Catania, where I deepened the analysis on my style, on the practical techniques of fashion and I learned to use programs like Adobe, Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign and Clo Enterprise.
I took part in several shootings and my debut capsule was published in the Vogue.it talents section.
my first collection was presented at the Fashion Graduate Italia 2019.

FOrza Manifesta

An imperfect and incomplete beauty; this is the predominant concept that identifies the collection. That kind of non-eternal beauty that once passed leaves us with a peaceful and peaceful nostalgia and spiritual harmony. It suggests a feeling of desolation and loneliness and a continuous search for the liberation of the material world, in the desire for a simpler and more genuine life. A predominant idea of Wabi Sabi, an aesthetic current of Buddhist origin that summarizes the three simple truths of doctrine: nothing lasts, nothing is over, nothing is perfect.
There is talk of a woman who finds her own balance after having understood the art of knowing how to accept herself, without hiding and feeding herself any regret. To reunite within oneself the fragments of one's life, thus to be one's master craftsman of the "kintsukuroi" ready to heal every single fragility by filling the cracks of the soul with pure gold.
This is the essence; the base that gives shape to flowing lines in contrast to the severity of the overcoats with the addition of strong experiments in knitwear and macramé. All created with the chromatic choice of taupe, old rose and Prussian blue.
