Anisha Misra

Anisha is a young, dynamic fashion designer who has lived most of her life in Dubai while also travelling extensively.

Born in Dehradun, India, Anisha’s talent for fashion became apparent at a very young age. Her journey into the fashion world began when she was just 8. Following a car accident she found herself hospitlaized for six weeks. To help pass her time, her parents gifted her a sketch pad, and a few days later, it was filled with sketches of gowns and dresses.

While the world of fashion fascinated Anisha, she decided to continue with it as a hobby, and pursued her education in Biomedical Science and Public Health respectively from Newcastle University– a field which equally interested her while growing up. However, after completing her degree, she realised that her true passion lies in the fashion industry which she decided to pursue.

In 2013, Anisha obtained a Diploma of Fashion Designing at Istituto di Moda Burgo in Europe’s fashion capital Milan, Italy.

Anisha worked in Dubai as a Design Assistant in Dubai from 2013 - 2014, where she gained hands on experience and learnt the business aspects of the industry.

Her first collection labelled ‘Antiquity Revived’ has been inspired by different facets of her life - her Indian background, her parents’ glamorous photographs of their travels around the world, her growing up in the Middle East, her travels around Asia and Europe, as well as her appreciation for historical textiles, architecture and antiques.

Each piece within the collection offers a timeless vintage style re-interpreted for the modern age. The designs maintain a regal, luxurious air, even as they carry a touch of freshness. They are made for the charismatic, confident woman; an aristocratic woman who carries herself like a work of art.
